In asian culture, there is a celebration known as a puberty ceremony. It is there - to celebrate a young girl's passage to become a woman. It was my cousin's puberty ceremony which took place last week and I had the chance to grab a couple of shots. The girl in the middle is my cousin who is 'becoming a woman' hence all the jewelry and the saree.
